FIELD: grooved ammunition of various calibers; manufacture of shells, grenades and mines for short-range combat. SUBSTANCE: proposed ammunition body has cylindrical part, bottom, centering bourrelet engageable with it over radius, driving band, rifles on inner surface and thread for initiating device; bottom chamber has depth of 0.07-0.17 of length of body and its diameter is equal to 0.55-0.85 of diameter of body as compared with prototype. Such design of artillery projectile increases firing range. EFFECT: increased firing range; enhanced efficiency of hitting the target. 4 cl, 2 dwg
