FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-explosive fragmentation munitions. Projectile contains a head detonator and a fragmentation shell. Shell is made with a chamber containing an explosive filling and with a centering thickening. In the centering thickening, a transverse groove with sheer walls is provided having a corrugated bottom with rectangular projections. Groove is pressed with a guiding composite belt made of fiberglass with a filling from powder graphite. Shell is made with a composition of carbon fiber reinforced with a steel mesh, in the head part of which a threaded fuse is mounted. In the bottom part, a threaded bearing bushing with an outer and an inner cylinders is fixed. Between these cylinders there are steel ball-shaped killing agents inserted. Bearing bushing in the bottom has a cylindrical cavity with a tracer device to create an additional reactive thrust.
EFFECT: reduced material consumption of the projectile, increased antifriction properties of the projectile belt and increased kill power of the projectile.
