FIELD: electrical engineering, high-voltage switching equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention is targeted for development of simple and reliable structure of sulfur hexafluoride load-breaking isolator, reduced energy consumption by drive mechanism, decreased manufacturing cost of isolator. Proposed sulfur hexafluoride load-breaking isolator has frame, arc-arresting mobile and immobile contacts and insulation nozzle. Novelty of approach lies in connection of insulation nozzle with immobile contact and in manufacture of mobile arcarresting contact with central and at least one side holes. Relation of distance L1 from plane of butt of immobile contact to edge of horizontal section of insulation nozzle and distance L2 from plane of butt of immobile contact to farthest edge of side hole in mobile contact lies in range from 1.3 to 2.0 not more. In addition isolator includes insulation bushing arranged inside immobile contact. EFFECT: development of simple and reliable structure of hexafluoride load-breaking isolator. 2 cl, 1 dwg
