FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention provides chemical method for concentration of naturally occurring minerals and ores for use in cases when principal ballast impurity is silica. Desiliconization comprises mixing preliminarily dispersed product with solid ammonium fluoride-bifluoride at weight ratio to silica from 1.5:1 to 5.5:1 followed by calcination of homogenized mixture within 100 to 500 C temperature range at temperature rise gradient 5- 10oC/min. Cooling gas phase leads to release of solid desublimate composed of ammonium silicofluoride and ammonium fluoride-bifluoride, which can be recycled.
