FIELD: oil and gas processing. SUBSTANCE: hydrocarbon feedstock is processed by way of dehydrogenation, cracking, aromatization, and isomerization in heterogeneous catalyst bed using periodic regeneration thereof. Feedstock is passed through a series of in series connected reactors with interstep heating. Conversion of hydrocarbons proceeds within heterogeneous pentasil-type zeolite-containing catalyst bed in reactors, temperature of feedstock fed into each next reactor being gradually raised. At the same time, one or several reactors are operated under catalyst regeneration conditions created by burning out coke achieved by feeding oxygen-nitrogen mix. Order of switching reactors from regeneration conditions to conversion conditions is selected such that reactor operated under regeneration conditions were switched to conditions enabling conversion of lightest hydrocarbons (or olefins), and reactor operated under conditions enabling conversion of lightest hydrocarbons were switched to conditions enabling conversion of heavier hydrocarbons. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 1 dwg
