SUBSTANCE: mix designed for graphitizing modification of gray iron is composed of 35-65% of very fine silicon-containing powder obtained in direct synthesis of organohalosilanes, 35-65% graphite powder, and 0.002- 0.005% antimony. EFFECT: increased graphitizing capability of modifier, point of maximum load for gray iron, its stability and microstructure homogeneity, and also strength in different cross-sections of cast metal. 3 tbl
