FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy industry and foundry engineering and can be used for out-of-furnace working of liquid iron. As graphitising modifying agent, there used is mixture containing fine silicium powder formed during manufacture of organohalosilanes, and graphite in the form of artificial graphite subject to temperature treatment more than 5000°C and to fine grinding at the following component ratio of the mixture, wt %: silicium 35-90, artificial graphite 10-65.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing graphitising ability of modifying agent, decreasing its flow up to 0,04-0,08% of the processed fusion mass.
