FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with nonferrous metallurgy, in particular, with electrolytic production of aluminum, namely with devices used for delivery of raw materials into an aluminum electrolyzer with a side current lead. Technical result of the invention is provision of a stable and uninterrupted operation of the installation used for delivery of alumina due to exclusion of dependence of a fed dose of raw material from physical characteristics of aluma and elimination of the aluma hanging in the hopper. The installation contains a hopper for the raw material, a discharge spout and a batcher having a drive with a rod and a jacket, a batching chamber with a valve. Above the batching chamber there is a valve rigidly fixed on a rod. The upper part of the valve is made as a semi-sphere mounted with its base downwards, and the valve lower part is made in the form of a cone with its apex downwards. The semi-sphere diameter is more, and the diameter of the cone base is less than the batching chamber diameter. The batching chamber is equipped with a guiding element and is fastened with the help of a self-mounting flange on the raw material discharge spout with a protrusion inside the hopper. The jacket is fixed to the batching chamber by the metal studs distributed uniformly along its circumference surface. The distance from the valve installed above the batching chamber up to the jacket gate, content above the dosing camera, at its extreme low position in the batching chamber up to the jacket makes 2-20 of a course of a rod. EFFECT: the invention allows to ensure delivery of aluma into the electrolyzer due to exclusion of dependence of the raw material fed dose from the aluma physical characteristics and prevention of its hanging in the hopper. 2 cl, 2 dwg
