FIELD: nonferrous industry; other industries; devices for the batched feeding of the raw into the aluminum electrolyzers.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for the feeding of the raw (alum earth, aluminum fluoride, crushed electrolyte) in the aluminum electrolyzer with the calcined anodes and with the central feeding. The device contains the bin of the being batched material, the batching chamber with the mounted rod- and the pneumatic piston. On the rod there are the rigidly fixed lower latching component and the upper piston. The lower latching component is fixed on the end of the rod and is made in the form of the conical valve with the connected to it lower piston-. In the upper part of the batching chamber, above the base of the bin- there are the loading windows disposed along the perimeter in such a manner, that in the upper position of the rod the upper piston is installed over the loading windows holes. The spacing interval from the base of the conical valve up to the lower shear -of the batching chamber is no less than the altitude of the loading windows. The conical cover is attached to the rod through the cardan joint with the capability of the soft- self-installation on the lower shear of the batching chamber. The conical cover is used for fixation of the rod in the upper position, protection of the lower piston from the hot aggressive gases outgoing from the surface of the electrolyte and for prevention of infiltration of the batched material through the clearance between the lower piston and the internal surface of the batcher. At the open loading windows the batched loose material does not drop through -the outlet hole of the batcher, which is closed and opened by the conical valve. The device ensures stability of the batch by the significant reduction of dependence of the dose of the loose material on the physical characteristics of the raw material and the speed of motion of the rod of the pneumatic power cylinder.
EFFECT: the invention ensures stability of the batch size at the significantly reduced dependence of the loose material batch on the physical characteristics of the raw material and the speed of motion of the rod of the pneumatic power cylinder.
