SUBSTANCE: unit has housing, heat-producing gas generator with gas header and combustion chamber, and heat-transfer apparatus with stack of laminated sections mounted along hot-gas flow and made of shaped metal laminations joined together to form sealed zigzag-shaped duct for passing coolant; novelty is introduction of nozzle unit inserted between gas header and combustion chamber in plane perpendicular to gas-air mixture flow; it is assembled of tubular members and disposed at definite pitch and clearance; longitudinal through slots are made in upper part of these members; butt-ends or one butt-end of members are placed for taking up ambient air; barriers separating laminated sections are provided with ports holding swirl generators; heat-transfer apparatus is provided with rectangular-section vertical gas conduits having loose or partially closed butt ends; hot gas passage is formed by laminated sections of heat-transfer apparatus and vertical gas conduits.
