FIELD: heat power industry. SUBSTANCE: approach can find use in development of heat exchangers with tube plates utilized in various branches of industry. Proposed heat exchanger includes enclosure, branch pipes to supply and remove water and steam, perforated tube plate carrying heat exchange tubes and fitted with partition passing over diameter and dividing tube plate into parts. Partition comes in the form of stiffening rib placed on steam and/or water side which length exceeds diameter of perforation circumference, height is less than thickness of tube plate and thickness is equal to one fifth of thickness of tube plate as minimum. In addition stiffening rib is provided with holes. Partition can come in the form of several stiffening ribs. EFFECT: diminished thickness of tube plate, reduced usage of metal and labor input to its manufacture thanks to substantial decrease of total drilling length and number of holes for heat exchange tubes. 1 dwg
