FIELD: recovery of liquid radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes pre-concentration of liquid radioactive wastes by evaporation to produce condensate and still bottoms, ozonization of still bottoms, separation of radioactive slime, and concentration of effluent by deep evaporation. Still bottoms are ozonized immediately after preconcentration by evaporation at solution pH of 12 to 13.5. Upon separation of radioactive slime effluent is passed through filtercontainer accommodating cesium-selective inorganic sorbent whereupon spent filter-container is dispatched for storage or burial.
