SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for handling liquid radioactive solutions of the nuclear fuel and energy cycle and can be used in the process of processing liquid radioactive waste. The method for successive decontamination of radioactive solutions includes the removal of radionuclides from solutions using selective sorbents. The radioactive solution in the liquid radioactive waste storage tank is pumped into a container containing selective sorbents. The solution purified from radionuclides is returned back to the storage tank for liquid radioactive waste, and this procedure is repeated several times in succession until the selective sorbents are saturated with radionuclides.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the radiation protection of the operating personnel during the production process, to exclude the formation of wash waters arising during the operation of the filter elements.
