FIELD: radio communication devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and circuit designed for adaptive timing of pilot signal relocation in segmented page mode make use of paging device subsystem that functions to measure amount of pilot signal phase shift, to compare measured value with threshold shift, and to reduce relocation time in case measured value does not exceed threshold shift value. Control processor also can make comparison of average relocation time and minimal relocation time and reduce relocation time in case it exceeds minimal relocation time. In addition processor can increase relocation time to its maximum in case its measured value is higher than threshold shift value.
