SUBSTANCE: invention proposes using taurolidine, taurultam or their combination as an agent used in treatment of mammalian digestive tract diseases caused by Helicobacter pylori, Helicobacter heilmanni or combination of indicated microorganisms. Invention relates also to method for treatment of corresponding diseases and to composition based on combination of taurolidine, taurultam or their combination with preparation that forms protective cover on the patient stomach mucosa and to composition based on combination of taurolidine, taurultam or their combination with inhibitor of proton pump. Invention provides both suppression of growth of indicated campilobacteria and blocking their adhesion with epithelial cells of stomach mucosa that eliminates pathogenicity of microorganisms and ceasing secretion of cytotoxin VacA.
