SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition capable of colonizing the stomach at pH within 4.5 and 5. Composition comprising at least one bacterial strain that is capable of colonizing the stomach at pH of 4.5 to 5, and to produce bacteriocins and/or metabolites and/or hydrogen peroxide to restore the barrier effect of the stomach in subjects, who take medicines to reduce or treat increased acidity of the stomach, wherein said composition contains from one to six bacterial strains selected from a defined group.
EFFECT: said composition is capable of restoring the barrier effect of the stomach lost during the pharmacological treatment of increased gastric acidity, and to minimize the secondary effects that result from pharmacological treatment.
