FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for exhaust gases of internal combustion engines with simultaneous recovery of their heat and entrapped components. Proposed method includes cooling of exhaust gases, mixing the gases with ozone-air mixture, condensing of water vapors, bringing obtained mixture in contact with recirculation condensate saturated with ozone, oxygen and acid components, absorption of nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides with simultaneous their oxidation in gaseous and liquid phases, taking off part of acid condensate with its subsequent recovery, separation of cleaned exhaust gases from drops of condensate and their discharge into atmosphere through device consisting of ozonizer, ribbed columns consisting of absorbing-cooling and separating-cooling sections and connected with mixing chamber, pan, gas collector, inlet and outlet branch pipes, air and drain lines with hydraulic check valve and storage reservoir.
