SUBSTANCE: method for restoring locally worn surfaces of part with use of restricting member comprises step of placing said member in such a way that its basic surface is adjoined to unworn portion of restored surface; before plastic deformation taking off topogram of worn portion of restored surface and according to said topogram determining spots and values of plastic deforming; plastically deforming worn portion of restored surface until it rests upon basic face; realizing surface plastic deformation by forming one recess at each operation whose number corresponds to quantity of spots determined at topographing; before removing deformation restricting member, filling formed recesses with antifriction material.
