Abstract RU 2228479 C1

FIELD: construction engineering; erection of pipe lines in slopes; building of roads and water-development works. SUBSTANCE: geo-grate laid on ground has cellular structure made from flexible bands fastened together in staggered order. Geo-grate is secured on ground at tension and its meshes are filled with loose material. Bands of geo-grate are made from soft materials kept in rolls; meshes of geo- grate are hexagonal in shape; fastening seams are twin; their strength is equal to strength of material of bands; distance between twin seams does no exceed half distance between inner seams of seam pairs which form meshes of geo-grate. Slopes whose steepness exceeds 45 deg. are reinforced with walls built up from horizontal geo-grates. Reinforcement is started from foot of slope and each subsequent layer is shifted towards slope partially penetrating into slope. EFFECT: avoidance of erosion of ground. 12 cl, 5 dwg
