FIELD: construction of covers of ground surfaces, mainly, reinforcing of road slopes, bank and shore lines, water basin beds, open cast slopes. SUBSTANCE: geograting is made of flat flexible material, mainly, from rolled polymer sheets with slot-shaped meshes of same length, located in parallel rows with displacement of neighboring rows relative to one another and uniformly in area and in stretched position meshes form three-dimensional mesh structure. Novelty consists in that meshes in nonstretched position are segment-shaped and oriented across the sheet. Novelty also covers length of meshes in nonstretchable position, distance between neighboring meshes across the sheet, distance between neighboring rows of meshes along sheet, displacement of neighboring rows, and in stretched position, sizes of meshes and height of geograting.
