FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measurement of dielectric quantities of radio absorption composite materials demonstrating high values of relative dielectric permittivity and dissipation factor and is intended for utilization in SHF radio engineering, in design of SHF antennas, radomes and screens for radio engineering systems. According to proposed method measuring complex dielectric permittivity of radio absorption composite material with heating thermocouples measuring temperature profile are embedded at different depth in the thick of specimen of measured material, sounding electromagnetic high-power wave is utilized that simultaneously measures and heats specimen of measured material. Heating temperature is measured by thermocouples in entire thickness of specimen of measured material. Complex reflectance or transmission of electromagnetic wave through specimen and temperature of heating of specimen are measured parameters. Precise values of dielectric permittivity of measured material at different temperatures are found by measured parameters. EFFECT: obtainment of precise (true), not averaged, values of dielectric permittivity enhances accuracy of establishment of dependence of dielectric permittivity on heating temperature, there is no need in use of separate heating device.
