FIELD: cigarette industry, in particular, equipment for automatic filter cigarette making machine. SUBSTANCE: cigarette rods are conveyed through filter attachment apparatus for attachment of filters by means of roller chain. Each roller has first immovable tubular casing rigidly connected with vertical case beam and second rotating tubular casing axially arranged over first tubular casing and centered with respect to axis common for both casings. Each roller has stator rigidly connected to first tubular casing and rotor rigidly connected to second tubular casing. Stator and rotor are aligned with primary and secondary parts of electric engine, respectively. Electric engine winding is connected to power supply controlled by main controller. Sensors are adapted for determining angular position and speed of individual roller at each given moment of time and generating and sending signals to main controller, which sets predetermined coordination for each roller with respect to other rollers in chain and continuously maintains it during working cycle.
