FIELD: upholstered furniture production. SUBSTANCE: upholstered furniture has four sections, with three sections being arranged one above another for forming seat, two sections connected with one another for arranging thereof in single plane in bed position, and one section having thickness equal to half the seat height. Height of forth section in bed position is equal to double thickness of third section and thickness of second section is equal to difference between height of seat and thickness of fourth section. Also, furniture may comprise fifth, sixth and seventh sections. Casing unites seat sections, back, two side sections, movable and immovable carcass bases. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, improved comfort of upholstered furniture owing to increased height of sleeping place. 22 dwg
