FIELD: production of home furniture. SUBSTANCE: furniture has four sections, three of said sections being positioned above one another, two of said sections being connected to one another so that they may be arranged in single plane. Side surfaces of these sections have similar configuration. Thickness of fourth section does not exceed difference between height of bed and thickness of first section. Furniture is provided with fifth section having thickness equal to that of fourth section, which is positioned in single plane with first section. Third section is coupled to first section so as to be arranged in single plane therewith. Furniture may be further equipped with carcass composed of seat and base arranged under second section, and with sixth section arranged under fifth section, or may be equipped with second base arranged under fifth section. Such construction allows functional properties of furniture to be widened due to reduced dimensions and depth of seat, when furniture is in folded position, and upholstered sections to be effectively used.
