FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: upholstered furniture has four sections, two of which are disposed one above the other and interconnected so as to be arranged in single plane. Side surfaces of these sections have identical configuration. Height of third section does not exceed difference between height of bed and thickness of first section. Fourth section is arranged above first section and connected with it so as to be arranged in single plane or is arranged in horizontal plane and has height not exceeding difference between height of bed and thickness of first section for arrangement under first section. Furniture may contain fifth section arranged above one of other sections and having thickness not exceeding difference between height of bed and thickness of first section for arrangement under first or fourth section. Upholstered furniture provides improved comfort for user due to reduced depth of furniture and seat in collapsed position.
