FIELD: metallurgical and chemical industrial waste waters purification. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method, that is dealt with flotation of ions of cadmium from deluted water solutions containing the carrying agent and may be used in clearing cadmium or other metals-bearing industrial waste waters of enterprises of metallurgical, chemical and other industries. Technological result is an increase of efficiency of metals extraction. The method of a flotation of ions of cadmium from deluted waste water solutions provides for usage of biomasses of microorganisms as the carrying agent, that accumulates cations of metals on its surface and then is extracted by flotation. In the capacity of the biomasses of microorganisms may be used gramme-positive actinomycetes: AK 61 and JL322 in an amount of 0.27-0.5 mg / l at the initial concentration of cadmium of 5 or 10 mg / l. In the capacity of the cationic collector they use cetyltrimethylammonium bromide in an amount of 2,5•10-5 at pH 6-10 and in contact with biomass for 15 min. Desorption of cadmium from the surface of the biomass is conducted by its treatment with 1 M salt cake. EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of metals extraction. 4 cl, 1 ex, 3 tbl
