FIELD: rolled stock production, methods for step rolling at deforming metals at high reduction degree. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of variable feed of blank; rolling out deformation cone; performing stable rolling process; afterrolling deformation cone. Blank feed at rolling out deformation cone and afterrolling it, is varied according to change of linear shifting in stable rolling process from feed in stationary rolling process until feed value received by multiplying feed value in stable rolling process by elongation value of blank respectively at beginning rolling out of deformation cone and at ending its afterrolling. Invention provides intensified process of rolling out deformation cone and afterrolling it. EFFECT: lowered manufacturing loads, improved quality of rolled pieces, enhanced efficiency of step rolling process due to increased feed of blank at rolling out deformation cone and afterrolling it. 5 dwg, 1 tbl
