FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Method of cyclic multipass radial forging includes the period of radial forging of blank by hammers at its displacement by feeding manipulator in strikers and period of radial forging at blank displacement by pulling manipulator from strikers. Each passage consists of process of obtaining on blank the cone of deformation, established process of forging and process forging until of cone of deformation. Processes is performed cyclically at free end of the blank. Each cycle consists of feed of blank and reduction of it by strikers. In each cycle of the established process of forging, except the first, the speed of feeding manipulator is installed in λ times less than the speed of pulling manipulator, where λ - the ratio of cross-sectional areas at inlet and outlet from strikers.
EFFECT: as a result provided improvement of quality of received blanks, performance improvement of process of radial forging and increase of reliability of operation of radial forging machine.
