FIELD: agriculture; industrial livestock and poultry husbandry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement and setting of temperature sensed by animals and comparison of measurement results with preset value. Depending on varying signal responding to room temperature cost of power required for heating is calculated, least total cost is evaluated, and respective signal for correcting heating conditions in live stock barn is generated. Device implementing this method has temperature and humidity sensors and parameter setting elements connected to heating temperature regulators and to three calculating units whose outputs are connected to inputs of adder; the latter is connected to input of. control unit connected to general heating temperature regulator.
