SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of agents and methods tha can be used both in narcology practice and in prothilactic aims for reducing the morbidity risk of alcoholism, narcomania and toxicomania as addictive diseases. Invention proposes to use vicinal dithioglycols by the novel designation, namely for the development of medical agents eliciting ability to prevent arising or development, or to reduce the rate of pathological processes course based on the formation of addictive diseases, in particular, the formation of the withdrawal syndrome. Proposed substances reduce or block pharmacological effects after administration of ethanol and/or narcotics, i.e. they induce the direct effect on pathigenetic mechanisms in the development of addiction diseases, in particular, alcogolism. The application of the proposed invention provides reducing the level ofaocogolism diseases and narcomania and to reduce toxic effect of alcoholic drinks in their excessive using.
