SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and is aimed at creation of medications, which can be used both in drug abuse practice and for prophylactic purposes to reduce risk of alcoholism, drug abuse and glue sniffing morbidity. Medication, intended for prevention of onset and/or prevention of development and/or reduction of rate of development of pathological processes, induced by intake of alcohol-containing drinks, contains, at least, one vicinal dithioglycol unithiol in effective amount in form, suitable for peroral introduction. Medication application prevents development of processes of toxic ethanol impact.
EFFECT: invention also relates to application of unithiol for preparation of medications in form suitable for peroral introduction, intended for blocking and/or prevention of development and/or reduction of rate of development of pathological processes, induced by intake of alcohol-containing drinks and/or psychoactive substances.
