FIELD: medicine, orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: the suggested composition should be applied as a carrying surface, orthopedic biomaterial for worn surfaces in artificial articulations, such as hip and knee joints. Manufacturing is carried out due to obtaining the mixture out of powder containing 70-100 volumetric % of silicon nitride by supplementing 0-30 volumetric % of one or combination of the following materials: zirconium dioxide, yttrium dioxide, titanium dioxide, calcium oxide, silicon carbide, and mullite to form ceramic mass to be subjected to the impact of high pressure, being more 50 MPa and temperature ranged 500-3000 C and agglomeration (HIP). This composition could be applied for one or two surfaces in artificial articulation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl, 5 dwg, 2 ex
