FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bioceramic part that can be formed as a prosthetic knee, hip, shoulder joint, or as a prosthetic finger joint. Bioceramic part is at least partially made of a ceramic material having the following composition (% by volume): 55 - less than 90 alumina matrix, 10–75 vol. % of alumina matrix formed in the form of hexagonal plates with the chemical composition of LaAl11O18, 10 - less than 45 zirconium dioxide, stabilized 0.5–2.5 mol.% Y2O3 and 2–10 mol. % CeO2 in the calculation of zirconium dioxide, 0.1 to 1.0 Pr6O11, which forms a mixed crystal with alumina and acts together with cerium oxide as a bridging oxide between alumina and zirconia. In the composition of the ceramic material, the proportion of aluminum oxide and zirconium dioxide, together with the corresponding additional components of the composition, is brought to 100 %, not counting the inevitable impurities. Method of obtaining bioceramic parts includes the preparation of a powder mixture, molding of the part, machining of the part with the formation of the workpiece, preliminary sintering to achieve closed porosity and hot isostatic pressing of the part, followed by grinding and polishing.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is an increase in the stability of the ceramic material to the effect of moisture and temperature.
