FIELD: transport engineering; sports bicycles and roadsters. SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic transmission contains hub 1, shaft 14, actuating member 16, bottom bracket 17 with return spring 19, cable 18 for coupling actuating member 16 with bottom bracket 17, control member 8 with spring 10, inner part with flexible tie 7, rollers 9, weights 3, threaded clutch member 12, reversible clutch member 13 and splined nut 15. Clutch member 12 and nut 15 are connected through thread with shaft 14. Nut 15 is movably connected with clutch member 12 and member 16. Control member 8 is installed for axial displacement relative to hub 1 and is provided with toothed ends for alternate engagement with clutch members 12 and 13. Weight 3 are made in form of half-rings and are fitted in pairs into part 2 so that weights 3 in pair should interact through toothed sectors. Pairs are turned relative to each other through 180o and are interact through pins and slots. Hub 1 is provided with interconnected clamp 20 and support ring interacting with spring 10. EFFECT: improved reliability of multistage gear-changing at each change of speed, improved sensitivity of speed tracing within wide limits to select moment of gear changing. 6 dwg
