FIELD: transport engineering: bicycles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bicycle speed-change automatic control by action of centrifugal force of rotating flyweights with subsequent addition of auxiliary force of hub of rotating rear wheel to operate rear change-speed control. Centrifugal flyweights 7 are connected by flexible tie with spring-loaded control member 6 installed inside rear wheel hub. Said control member 6 can rotate together with rear wheel hub and, at change of centrifugal force of flyweights, it can engage with fine-pitch clutch member 6 or with reverse clutch member 8. When control member 6 engages with threaded clutch member 9, travel of clutch member along fine-pitch thread is provided for engagement with large pitch nut 10 speed change control cable in one direction and disengagement of threaded clutch member 9 with control member 6. When control member 6 engages with reverse clutch member 8 change over of speeds is other direction is provided through threaded clutch member 9 and disengagement of reverse clutch member 8 with control member 6 is done. Control member 6 can axially travel relative to limiting ring 12 within clearance between thrust rings 15, limiting ring 12 and turn thrust ring 15 being fixed in rear wheel hub. Spring-loaded stops 13 are arranged in pairs symmetrically relative to limiting ring 12. Extreme stops are limited by thrust rings 15 relative to limiting ring 12. Thickness of each of spring-loaded stops 13 corresponds to axial displacement of control member 6 sufficient for engagement of other gear. Control member 6 can act by its projection 11 onto some spring-loaded stops 13 to shift them through some angle to thrust its projection 11 in limiting ring 12, axial displacement of control member 6 being limited by other spring-loaded stops 13.
EFFECT: provision of definite and reliable operation of mechanism at strict sequence of speed changing.
