FIELD: equipment for securing of slopes or inclines. SUBSTANCE: netting woven of corrosion-resistant wires is lied on soil surface or secured in substantially vertical position on slope. Wire for netting production is made of high-strength steel having nominal strength of 1000 - 2200 N/mm2. Twisted wire or wire of spring steel is used for netting forming. Method of netting production with the use of spiral curved wires involved feeding wires of high-strength steel at predetermined angle, which is equal at least to (α), to bending mandrel; repeatedly pushing wire along longitudinal axis thereof upwards to mandrel; bending wire through 180o for desired length L around mandrel for imparting spiral shape to wire. Mandrel for wire bending is located such that a gap is created between mandrel and guiding area. Bending unit bends wire during rotation thereof, wherein wire is fed at angle (α). Device has feeding means for pushing wire for the length L along longitudinal axis thereof into guiding area. EFFECT: reduced cost, decreased material consumption, possibility of netting mass distribution, easy assembling on embankment or gravel counterfort. 10 cl, 14 dwg
