FIELD: mechanical engineering+ADs- testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric brake rigs for running-in and diagnosing condition of internal combustion engines. Invention makes it possible to check condition of engine at specified moment from point of view of ecological safety and improve quality of running-in and safety and reliability. Proposed test rig contains electric motor-brake, adjusting rheostat, weight mechanism with control instrument panel, fuel flow-rate meter, shaft speed, temperature and oil pressure in main line and engine shaft torque transmitters connected to control device to input of which inputs and outputs of setters-standards of temperature, engine shaft torque and engine shaft speed are connected. Rig contains also gas analyzer determining concentration of hydrocarbons (CH) and carbon monoxide (CO) in exhaust gases and setters-standards of concentration of hydrocarbons (CH) and carbon monoxide(CO) whose input and outputs are connected with inputs of control device.
