FIELD: seismic streamers towed in aqueous medium and used for seismic investigations or detection of ships and submarines. SUBSTANCE: section of hose towed streamer carries hydrophones or geophones connected by information-and-power wires, power element located inside hose with butt sealing connectors filled with helium. Power element comprises one or several links. Each links includes two thimbles in the form of semi-disks with grooves through which continuous cable passes freely. Links are interjoined in sequence through transit connectors by attaching thimbles to ends of transit connectors. Two extreme thimbles are attached to proper sealing butt connectors. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of section of streamer, simplified technology of assembly-disassembly of streamers, diminished low-frequency noise component during towing. 4 cl, 5 dwg
