METHOD FOR SOWING OF GRASS AND SHRUB SEEDS FOR CREATING OF PASTURES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture and forestry, in particular, grass and shrub sowing processes for creating agrocenosis in arid zone. SUBSTANCE: method involves sequence of operations, such as forming local depressions, sowing and embedding seeds. Each depression has intersecting curved side surfaces formed by moving plane along guide, such as cycloid. Angle of deviation of tangent to curved line of local depression profile at point of intersection thereof with top soil layer horizon from horizontal plane exceeds seeds friction angle against side surfaces of local depression. Side surfaces of local depression defining pit in intersection points possess tautochronic properties providing full shifting of seeds into pits for time interval determined from expression , where g is free fall acceleration; H is height of depression. EFFECT: provision for creating of stable plant agrocenosis with increased biological potential, productivity and improved nutritive properties. 5 dwg, 1 tbl
