FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating both acute and chronic forms of ocular ischemic diseases. One should apply complex therapy including spasmolytics, anticoagulants and fibrinolytics, antioxidants and antiedemic preparations. Additionally, it is necessary to inject nimotope and actovegin. Moreover, at acute form of the disease nimotope is injected intravenously by drops at the quantity of 50 ml, containing 10 g nimodipin, once daily, every day, for 3-5 d, as for actovegin it should be intravenously injected by drops at the quantity of 500 mg/200 ml physiological solution twice daily, for 8-10 d. In case of chronic form - nimotope is prescribed to be taken inside per 30 mg thrice daily for 18-20 d, and actovegin is introduced by drops intravenously at the quantity of 500 mg/200 ml physiological solution once daily, for 8-10 d.
