FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: cantilevered track-laying device includes platform and cantilever secured thereto. Cantilever has grippers for holding switch blocks and portal outrigger performing movement in lengthwise direction relative cantilever. Portal outrigger comprises frame and pillars pivotally connected with frame and having roller bearing extendable in vertical direction. Outrigger frame is formed as rest enclosing cantilever and mounted on longitudinal cantilever guides by drive wheels and connected with pillars by power cylinders. Roller bearings also have drive power cylinders. EFFECT: extended device capabilities, elimination of difficult-to-obtain or expensive vehicles usage, increased productivity due to using equipment with high load-carrying capacity and mobility. 3 cl, 2 dwg
