DEVICE FOR THROWING OF NET AND METHOD FOR NET PACKING IN THE DEVICE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: nonlethal weapon, in particular, weapon for catching of living beings by means of net throwing. SUBSTANCE: the device has a launcher, tapered bell with barrels, nets packed in the inner cavity of the bell closed with a cover, and loads fastened in the periphery of the nets and laid in the barrels of the bell. The bell barrels have a variable diameter, the barrels with a larger diameter equal to the diameter of the loads are closer to the outlet cut of the barrels. The loads are cylinder-shaped, they are fastened on the net with the aid of elastic cords, they are placed in the barrels with orientation of the points of attachment to the cut of the barrels and have triangle-shaped grooves with the point oriented to the high-pressure chamber. The bell barrels are installed in the longitudinal axis at a definite angle. The essence of the packing consists in the fact that the net is suspended from the marked center, the loads are alternately attached with the aid of tinted cords in the periphery of the nets and packed up in the same sequence one after another in the bell barrels. Having pushed through the hand between two cords and seized the center of the net from inside, the net is drawn out between these cords and turned inside out. In the spaces between these cords, beginning from the center, the net is packed up in the bell cavity and the bell cavity with the net is closed with the cover.
