FIELD: technical physics. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in tests of aircraft jet engines, in methods and devices measuring thrust of turbojet engines and two-circuit turbojet engines. Process consists in measurement of resistance effort on sondes, which are deviated from perpendicular to direction of flow through specified angle α.. In this case parameter, resistance factors of sondes and dynamic head are established by dependences obtained on ground while sondes were placed perpendicular to direction of gas flow. Thrust is found by obtained value of dynamic head multiplied by factor of 1/cos2α. Gear to establish thrust of nozzle of engine in flight includes measurement sondes in the form of rectilinear rods positioned in area of nozzle exit section. They are made fast with one end to nozzle structure with the help of bracket and bear force-measuring facilities coupled with outputs to unit determining thrust. Rods can be rearranged in attachment units for brackets to ensure their turn in vertical plane through specified angle. Unit determining thrust is provided with master unit setting sondes. EFFECT: possibility of establishment of thrust of nozzle in entire range of operation of engines on ground and in flight with required accuracy, provision for economical efficiency and simplicity of measurement process. 5 cl, 4 dwg
