FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: procedure can be utilized for establishment of duration of unit elements of reconnoitered multiposition (multifrequency) signals and for determination of parameters of signals with programmed retuning of working frequencies. Time intervals from moment of emergence of first pulse of input flow to moments of appearance of each pulse in observed realization of flow are measured. Possible values of integral multiplicity factors of time interval are sorted out according to clock interval. Estimates of their common divisors in the form of angular coefficients of straight lines of regression passing through origin of coordinates with equal least sums of squares of departures of own points are found. Maximal angular coefficient of forward regression is taken as value of clock interval. EFFECT: enhanced precision of establishment of clock interval of random flow of pulses with a priory uncertainty of clock probability of their appearance. 3 dwg
