METHOD OF RADIO SIGNAL DEMODULATION WITH PHASE DIFFERENCE MODULATION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC H04L27/22

Abstract RU 2469488 C1

FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to transfer discrete information by analog signals along channels, in which amplitude modulation is applied with a suppressed carrier, and data is represented in the form of mutually orthogonal phase-manipulated sinusoidal signals or sets of such signals. In the method of demodulation a radio signal is received at a bearing frequency f0, its spectrum is transferred to a value equal to the value f0 into a low-frequency area, then the transferred radio signal is digitised, quadrature components of the transferred digitized radio signal are calculated. Calculation of a radio signal spectrum transfer error is done in accordance with the formula Δf=M0/2πT, where M0 is an expected value according to multiple K parcels. The calculated error is memorised, and a shift is compensated when receiving another radio signal made of K parcels at N frequencies, and identification of an information symbol is carried out with account of the value M0. Besides, actions to determine the expected value of M0 and Δf are repeated, when another signal arrives from K parcels.

EFFECT: higher noise immunity due to taking into account frequency and phase errors of reference oscillation generation in a receiver and statistical processing of received signals.
