FIELD: communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of simulating independent and grouped communication channel errors. Method consists in that the specified length of the message N bits is divided into shorter messages from n bits, wherein the sum of bits of messages from n bits is equal to the number of bits in the message of N bits, for messages from n bits, a correction factor is introduced for the error grouping factor and based on said correction for three channel-link states, making combinations 11, 01, 00, calculating conditional probabilities P(0i1|11), P(0i1|01), P(0i1|00), which correspond to errors in channel in form of 0i1, and P(0n|00), P(0n|01), P(0n|11), which correspond to error-free intervals in form of 0n, randomly distributed in range from 0 to 1 random number L is generated, for which by conditional probabilities P(0i1|11), P(0i1|01), P(0i|00), P(0n|00), P(0n|01), P(0n|11) determining sequences 0k1 or 0k, which for messages from n bits make bitwise error streams, from which a bitwise error stream is sequentially formed for each message from N bits.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of speed of modified communication channel model.
