FIELD: measurement of parameters of physical fields. SUBSTANCE: procedure includes formation of measurement network covering measurement zone that has at least two systems of measurement channels parallel one another within limits of individual system which are made of fiber light guides so arranged that each measurement channel of one system crosses measurement channels of another system many times, feed of optical radiation into measurement channels with recording of measurement signal in which capacity changes of parameters of optical radiation after passage through measurement channel are used. Recorded signal is subjected then to subsequent processing. Each system of measurement channels is formed of one fiber light guide, preferably, single-mode, that is laid in the form of zigzag with rectangular teeth predominantly. Working sections of fiber light guide in each system of measurement channels crossing measurement zone are parallel one another and sections of this fiber light guide linking them are positioned outside of measurement zone and/or are insulated against action of measured physical fields. Optical radiation from radiators of reflectometers is entered simultaneously into each fiber light guide in the form of optical pulses which duration is found from expression τ<Lwc/v, where τ is duration of optical pulses; Lp is length of working section of fiber light guide; v is velocity of light in fiber light guide. Optical registering reflectometer is used to fix changes of measurement signals in which capacity part of optical pulse entered into fiber light guide reflected by corresponding bends of light guide is utilized, time reference of each reflected signal is recorded in addition. Besides this power of recorded signal and time of its recording are measured. Lower limit of duration of optical pulses is determined from expression τl>Ll/v, where τ is duration of optical pulses; Ll is length of nonworking section of fiber light guide orthogonal to working section; v is velocity of light in fiber light guide.
