SUBSTANCE: method involves shooting body region from different shooting positions for producing of at least two pictures; determining contour lines, such as contrast lines, from said pictures; using supporting object having supporting portion for scaling of pictures; orienting camera in direction perpendicular to supporting portion by means of sighting angle adjusting device, such as poles extending in perpendicular direction; determining outer surface of body region on the basis of contour line and supporting portion images by means of basic model.

EFFECT: reduced time and costs and increased precision of measurements.
