FIELD: physics, computation hardware.
SUBSTANCE: automatic room 3D measurement appliance comprises shooting apparatus for production of low-resolution video images. Shooting apparatus can automatically produce high-resolution pictures at geometrically suitable points of the room. Note here that automatic production of high-resolution pictures is effected on the basis of 3D reconstruction of the room performed from low-resolution video images in real time mode.
EFFECT: higher quality of room reconstruction owing to optimum orientation of shooting apparatus.
