FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: one should introduce certain dyestuff into vascular pathway, determine the values of general hepatic circulation. Additionally, one should apply a double-lumen measuring catheter through an umbilical duct into portal vein and due to the method of local thermodilution it is necessary to determine the values for both portal and arterial circulation. Measurements should be performed periodically in35-40 min in the course of operative interference and once daily in postoperational period for 3-5 d. At decreased values mentioned against the norm one should consider hepatic circulation to be affected. The method declared enables to prevent complications associated with disorders of hepatic circulation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
